Imagine what it would be like to go out to work, or to shop, or to drive your kids to a sporting event, and then you come home, and find -- rubble. Since the start of the war in February 2022, more than 21 million Ukrainians have experienced that life-shattering loss -- 680,000 in January 2023 alone. About seven million of them have remained in Ukraine as internally displaced persons. 

The Rotary Clubs in Ukraine have been tireless in providing shelter, food, water, and other basic necessities of life. We want to help with the most basic of items: food and water,  beds and blankets, refrigerators and stoves, washing machines and dryers, tables and chairs, water filtration systems, and things we take for granted.  

 The Rotary Club of Wilmington is committed to raising $200,000 to meet this urgent need for these most basic things of life.
