The Scholarship Program was launched in 1921 with a lunch for 90 high school seniors who heard career-oriented presentations by club members. In the early ‘20s, the club began providing financial assistance to students as loans. In the early ‘70’s the program resurfaced, with grants replacing loans.

In recent years, the club has offered academic scholarships of varying amounts, made possible by an endowment fund and members’ annual donations. More than 300 students have been assisted.
